Great Projects Coming in 2025

• Expand our Police Department. Add even more officers over next 2 years.
   
• Keep criminals out of Shenandoah with proactive pursuit by SHPD.
   
• David Memorial Drive will be extended to SH 242 providing an alternate route to the I-45 service road. Improves traffic on north feeder road and gives easy access to ambulances for Methodist hospital.
   
• I-45/Research Forest Drive Intersection will be widened to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion.
   
• Finish project to extend water, sewer & 57 fire hydrants and infrastructure to our neighbors in Tamina without costs to Shenandoah residents.
   
• Expansion of Water Treatment Plant to ensure great water and sewer service.
   
• Adopt updated development codes that encourage outstanding tenants in blight areas and keep Shenandoah great.
   
• Adopt updated long-term community comprehensive plan.
   
• Enhance Shenandoah’s competitiveness as a destination to stay and shop.
   
• Significantly expand communication to residents as well as visitors.
   
• Neighbors Helping Neighbors expansion to more residents in need.
   
• Continue to enhance community events with Shenandoah Civic Club.
   
• Add at least one Dog Park in Shenandoah.
   
• Utilize partnership with Shenandoah Sharks to accelerate Branding of our city as the HEART of The Woodlands and Montgomery County.
